Milwaukee’s M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE HD15 battery pack, model 48-11-1819, is still marked “coming soon” on the maker’s product page, with no Canadian price and no ship date. Pro Tool Reviews lists it at $379 in the United States for January 2027 in its roundup of Milwaukee’s 2026 PIPELINE launches.
What is new compared with the HD12.0 packs?
Milwaukee claims 25 percent more run-time than the M18 FORGE HD12.0 at the same size, and 50 percent more power than the HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0. Service Truck Magazine gives the capacity as 15 amp-hours.
The sources do not fully agree on the baseline. Milwaukee’s page compares the 25 percent run-time gain with the FORGE HD12.0, while Service Truck Magazine words it against the HIGH OUTPUT 12.0. Until independent testing appears, treat both numbers as the maker’s claims for the same size pack, not as measured results.

How fast does it charge?
Milwaukee says the pack reaches 80 percent in 25 minutes on the M18 and M12 Four Bay Simultaneous Super Charger. The page also describes a COOL-CYCLE active cooling system that works with COOL-CYCLE capable chargers to cut downtime.
Service Truck Magazine adds that the housing is designed to resist oils, greases and solvents, and that REDLINK Intelligence protects the tool and the battery from overloads.
Will it fit my tools, and what is the warranty?
Milwaukee says the HD15 fits M18 tools, one system with more than 300 tools, and pictures it on the M18 FUEL 9” Cut-Off Saw with ONE-KEY. Image captions on the page mention a 3 Year Warranty, but the page does not spell out the terms.
Weight and dimensions were not listed when we read the page, so check them before you plan a holster, tray or case around the pack.
Who it suits
- Professional tradespeople on heavy tools: cut-off saws, rotary hammers and demolition tools are where a bigger pack matters. Check whether your tool is listed as compatible with the larger pack.
- Crew and fleet buyers: the Four Bay charger claim of 25 minutes to 80 percent is the number to weigh, since it decides how many packs a crew needs on the truck. Confirm the charger price separately.
- M18 owners: nothing in the sources says you need new tools, since Milwaukee says the pack fits M18 tools. Confirm weight before buying.
- Serious DIYers and budget buyers: the $379 US price from Pro Tool Reviews is for a pack aimed at demanding work. A smaller pack from the existing line may cost less, and Canadian pricing is not out yet.
- First time buyers: wait for a Canadian price, a spec table and independent runtime tests.
What should I watch for next?
Open the Milwaukee Canada product page for 48-11-1819 and use the “Notify Me” sign up, then compare the Canadian price with the US figure once it appears. If you need a high capacity pack today, the previous generation FORGE HD12.0 is the pack Milwaukee itself uses as its comparison.
