Torque Digest is a news site for people who work with tools and people who simply love them. We cover new power tools and launches, battery platforms, recalls, buying guides, tool deals and job site gear in short, clear stories that get to the specs that matter.
What we cover
- Power Tools: new drills, drivers, saws, grinders, outdoor power equipment and hand tools, battery platforms and voltages, recalls and brand news.
- Reviews: buying guides, comparisons and explainers that help you pick the right tool, built on the makers’ specifications and on test results published by established outlets, which we always credit.
- Deals: real price drops and maker promotions on tools, batteries and kits, checked against the official list price.
- Job Site Gear: storage systems, workwear, safety gear, lighting, job site radios, vacuums, generators and garage equipment.
How stories are made
Every story starts from an official primary source, such as a maker’s newsroom, a product page or a regulator’s recall notice, and is checked against at least one more reliable source, such as an official store page or an established trade outlet. We pull out what matters to the people who buy and use the tool and explain it in plain language. Each story links to the sources it is based on so you can check the details yourself.
Every story is checked before it goes live. Stories that are too thin, too promotional or that contain figures not found in the sources are dropped. Deals are confirmed on the store or the maker’s site before they are published. We do not claim to have tested a tool unless we say exactly how, and test results from other outlets are always attributed to them.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, tell us through the contact page. Confirmed errors are fixed and the story shows an updated time.
