Milwaukee’s M18 FUEL 9” Cut-Off Saw w/ ONE-KEY, model 2919-20, is listed as “coming soon” on Milwaukee’s site, and Power Tool Insider reports a US list price of $1,199 with availability on January 18, 2027. Canadian pricing and release timing have not been announced.

When does it come out and what does it cost?

Power Tool Insider, reporting from Milwaukee’s Pipeline 2026 event, gives the $1,199 tool price and the January 18, 2027 date, and calls the saw a Milwaukee exclusive at Home Depot. Milwaukee’s own product page shows no price or date, only a Notify Me sign-up.

Nothing in the sources covers Canada, so Canadian readers should watch milwaukeetool.ca and Home Depot Canada for a listing. Prices can change before release.

What can it do on one battery?

Milwaukee says that with an M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE HD15 battery the saw delivers up to 10 ft of cutting in concrete or 90 cuts in #5 rebar per charge. The battery is sold separately.

The safety and control features on the page:

  • AUTOSTOP advanced kickback protection
  • RAPIDSTOP blade brake, which Milwaukee says stops the blade in under 2 seconds
  • Material-specific cutting modes and a load indicator light
  • An electronic water valve that releases water only while the trigger is pulled, which helps a portable water tank last longer
  • ONE-KEY compatibility for tracking and inventory

The 2919-22HD kit adds a 9” Diamond ULTRA masonry blade, a 9” ceramic and metal cut-off wheel, a Hex/Torx wrench and a quick connect fitting. Power Tool Insider also says a separate ceramic and metal wheel is due in Q1 2027, with no price yet.

How does it compare with the 2786-20?

Milwaukee’s current M18 FUEL 9” saw, the 2786-20, is listed at 6,600 RPM and 10.6 lbs as a bare tool, and Milwaukee recommends the HD12.0 battery for it. For the 2919 the maker has not published RPM, weight or depth of cut, so a direct spec comparison is not possible yet.

As listed, AUTOSTOP and the material-specific modes appear on the 2919 pages, along with the pairing with the larger HD15 pack. The 2786-20 stays on sale in the meantime.

Who it suits

  • Concrete and masonry crews: the water valve and per-charge cut claims suit wet cutting, but check the runtime on your own materials once specs are out.
  • Plumbing and utility contractors: a battery saw avoids gas fumes in trenches and enclosed spaces. Plan for a second battery on long days.
  • Fleet and rental buyers: ONE-KEY tracking is the draw. The HD15 is a new, large pack, so confirm charger and storage plans.
  • Owners already on M18: the tool works with the platform, but the best runtime claims assume the HD15, which has no price yet.
  • Occasional DIY users: at the reported price this is a contractor tool. The 2786-20 may be the cheaper way in.
