EGO Commercial has unveiled eight new battery-powered zero-turn riding mowers at EQUIP Exposition, along with a faster charging hub and new handheld tools for 2027. The company’s release is dated October 23, 2026. According to Pro Tool Reviews, the sit-down models are available now through EGO Commercial dealers, while the stand-on models are slated for mid-2027. Prices have not been announced.
Three configurations, eight mowers
EGO Commercial’s release groups the new machines into three types:
- Commercial Sit-Down ZTR: up to 44 gas-equivalent hp, up to 12 mph, with 48, 54 and 60 inch decks.
- Commercial Stand-On ZTR: the same 44 hp and 12 mph ceiling, with 48, 54 and 60 inch decks.
- Commercial Compact Stand-On ZTR: up to 26 gas-equivalent hp, up to 9 mph, with 32 and 36 inch decks.

Maximum power and top speed as stated by EGO Commercial: full-size mowers 44 gas-equivalent hp and 12 mph, compact stand-on 26 gas-equivalent hp and 9 mph.
Batteries and charging
The full-size mowers take up to four removable high-capacity batteries and carry an onboard 700W DC-to-DC charger that can top up handheld EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries in the field. Pro Tool Reviews reports that the mower batteries are 56V, 2.2 kWh and 40Ah each, larger than the handheld packs, and that they can also be used in other EGO equipment. It lists runtime of 2 to 4 hours for the full-size models and more than 3 hours fully loaded for the compact stand-on, which has three battery ports. EGO’s own release gives no runtime figures.
The new 3200W PGX Hub is meant for fleet charging overnight. EGO says it doubles overnight capacity to 30 kWh and supports up to 48 three-port docks. Pro Tool Reviews adds that it runs from a 240V, 20A outlet, is 50% faster than the earlier 1600W hub, and charges a mower with four batteries in about 3.2 hours. Pro Tool Reviews also notes that some shops may need an electrical upgrade to run it.
Build and software
OPE+Landscape and Pro Tool Reviews both describe an I-beam frame and a 9-gauge fabricated deck on the full-size mowers. Pro Tool Reviews compares that with the 10-gauge deck on EGO’s newer homeowner riding mowers and notes that high-end commercial builds often use thicker steel. The sit-down models have an adjustable suspension seat and the stand-on models a suspension platform.
All eight mowers connect to the EGO Commercial Fleet App, which shows equipment status, location and usage, and lets managers set charging remotely.
New 2027 handheld tools
EGO also announced three 2027 tools. The 22 inch Composite Armor Deck Mower with Peak Power weighs 83 lb without batteries and has three adjustable blade speeds. The Commercial 780 CFM Blower weighs 4.8 lb bare, with air speeds up to 190 mph. The 16.5 inch front-motor string trimmer weighs 6.6 lb and has a carbon-fiber shaft.
Where the sources differ
OPE+Landscape lists the compact stand-on as arriving in mid-year 2027 alongside the stand-on, while Pro Tool Reviews says no date has been given for the compact. Treat the compact timing as unconfirmed until EGO or a dealer says otherwise.
Who it suits
Landscaping contractors and crews. The stand-on and sit-down mowers share batteries with handheld tools, which can simplify a fleet. Check runtime against your longest route, since Pro Tool Reviews gives a range of 2 to 4 hours rather than one figure.
Owners of small or tight properties. The compact stand-on is the one to watch, with its 32 and 36 inch decks. Its availability date is still unclear.
Fleet managers and shop owners. The fleet app and the 3200W hub are aimed at you. Confirm your shop’s electrical supply before planning around overnight charging.
Anyone already on EGO 56V. The onboard charger tops up handheld ARC batteries in the field, so your existing packs may stay useful. Check which handheld batteries each port accepts with a dealer.
Homeowners. These are commercial machines sold through dealers, and no prices have been announced.
Price and availability
No prices have been announced. None of the sources states Canadian availability, so Canadian readers should ask a local EGO Commercial dealer before planning a purchase.
