Bosch Power Tools has added a PRO 18V rebar cutter, a PRO 18V pencil vibrator, a radar wall and floor scanner and four meters to its jobsite range, according to a release dated October 5, 2026. The release gives no prices or ship dates, and Bosch Canada already lists the rebar cutter kit on its own site.

What did Bosch launch?

The release names seven products in two groups. The PRO line covers the 18V rebar cutter GBC18V-32, the 18V pencil vibrator GVC18V-25-120D, a pin-type moisture meter GMP1-13 and a pinless moisture meter GMM1-15. The EXPERT line covers the 18V wall and floor scanner with radar D-TECT18V-200-17C, a True RMS digital multimeter EXDM600-17 and a True RMS clamp meter EXMC600-17.

What can the rebar cutter do?

Bosch says the GBC18V-32 has a brushless motor rated as equivalent to 13 A of corded power and cuts #5 rebar in about two seconds. It handles rebar up to #10 (1-1/4 in.). The blade is tungsten carbide tipped and cuts cold, which Bosch’s Canadian product page says produces minimal sparks.

Safety features listed by Bosch include KickBack Control, which can shut the tool off if the blade binds, a brake that stops the blade when the switch is released, and a rotatable handle for cutting in different positions. There is no lock-on paddle switch.

The Bosch Canada page for kit GBC18V-32PSN16X lists the cutter, an anti-vibration handle, two DCB530RC blades and a carrying case. It gives the size as 17.5 in. long, 7.3 in. wide and 4.5 in. high, with a weight of 7.3 lb, and says it works with Ampshare batteries and chargers. Bosch backs its 18V cordless tools with a five-year limited warranty.

What about the vibrator, scanner and meters?

The pencil vibrator runs up to 12,700 vibrations per minute, with a 1 in. head and a 4 ft. whip, and is rated IPX4. For concrete crews it is a battery option where a cord would otherwise have to follow the pour.

The scanner uses radar to detect studs, metals, water-filled plastic pipes and live wires up to 7-1/2 in. deep. It shows 3D imaging and moves data over USB-C or an SD card.

Both moisture meters carry presets for 37 wood types and 10 building materials and are rated IP65. The pin-type meter takes the included AA batteries or a rechargeable 3.7V Li-Ion battery sold separately. The multimeter measures up to 600V AC/DC and is rated IP65 and drop-rated to 6 ft. The clamp meter reads AC/DC current up to 600 A, has a 1.18 in. jaw opening and a non-contact voltage detector, and is rated IP54.

How much does it cost, and is it sold in Canada?

Neither the release nor the Bosch Canada page shows a price. The release does not give dates or say which markets get each product, and mentions the U.S., Mexico and Canada only in its company description. The Canadian page proves the rebar cutter is listed for Canada, but not that every other product is.

Who it suits

  • Concrete and reinforcing crews: the rebar cutter and vibrator are the headline tools. Check that your team already owns 18V Bosch batteries, because Bosch sells the cutter kit with blades and a case but the listing does not show batteries.
  • Electricians and renovators: the scanner, multimeter and clamp meter cover detection and testing. The scanner lists live wire detection, but confirm the depth you need against the 7-1/2 in. figure.
  • Flooring and carpentry trades: the two moisture meters share the same presets, so the choice is between a pin that reads inside the material and a pinless meter that leaves no marks.
  • Fleet buyers: ask a Canadian dealer for pricing and stock, since none is published.

What to check next

Watch the Bosch Canada product page for the GBC18V-32PSN16X kit and ask a dealer for Canadian pricing and dates before budgeting for the tools. Until Bosch publishes prices, treat every figure here as the maker’s own claim.
