RIDGID’s NUKE line is a family of 18V SubCompact brushless tools sold exclusively at The Home Depot. The line is built around a drill/driver, a hammer drill, impact drivers, a circular saw and a blower, and it runs on RIDGID’s existing 18V batteries. RIDGID’s Canadian product page still shows the drill/driver kit as “Coming Soon” and lists no price, so Canadian readers should confirm stock and pricing with Home Depot Canada.
What RIDGID says about the drill/driver kit
RIDGID’s Canadian page for the RNKSDD01K1 kit gives these specs:
- 750 in-lbs of torque and a two speed gearbox, with 0-600 RPM in speed 1 and 0-2,000 RPM in speed 2
- 1/2 inch chuck and 16 clutch positions
- 2.4 lbs for the tool, with an LED light and a reversible belt hook
- Kit contents: the drill/driver, an 18V 2.0Ah MAX Output battery, a charger, a belt hook with screw and a tool bag
RIDGID describes the design as about 20% more compact, with a shorter length than its brushed model. The tool works with all RIDGID 18V batteries, chargers and tools, and the brand’s Lifetime Service Agreement applies if the tool is registered within 90 days of purchase. On RIDGID’s US page, the matching hammer drill kit RNKSHM01K1 weighs 2.6 lbs and is listed at $159.00 USD.

The wider line, according to ToolGuyd
ToolGuyd reported on May 11, 2026 that the line has seven tools in eight configurations, and that RIDGID calls it an expanding platform into 2027. The drills, impact drivers and circular saw were slated for Home Depot in July 2026, and the blower for October 2026.
ToolGuyd lists these dollar prices without naming a currency: the drill/driver kit at $139, a drill and impact driver combo at $219, a hammer drill and four mode impact driver combo at $269, the Stealth Force quiet impact driver at $169 as a bare tool, the 4-1/2 inch circular saw at $149 and the blower at $79. For the quiet driver, RIDGID claims up to 2x faster and 73% quieter than standard impact drivers.
What testers measured
Pro Tool Reviews scored the hammer drill 9.5 out of 10. In its own tests, three 8 inch screws into OSB took the Nuke 6.34 seconds on average, against 2.72 seconds for RIDGID’s larger R861152 flagship. Three 3 inch holes in 4000 PSI concrete with a 3/8 inch masonry bit took 10.46 seconds, against 7.71 seconds for the flagship. The reviewer said the Nuke finished every test without trouble.
Against RIDGID’s previous SubCompact hammer drill, Pro Tool Reviews lists max torque rising from 500 to 750 in-lbs and the head getting shorter, from 6.5 to 6.1 inches, while bare weight grows from 2.2 to 2.6 lbs.

Maximum torque in in-lbs: previous RIDGID SubCompact hammer drill (500) against the NUKE SubCompact (750), per Pro Tool Reviews.
Pro Tool Reviews also rated the Stealth Force driver 9.5 out of 10. It reported 2.27 seconds per 1/4 inch screw, against 4.49 seconds for a DeWalt DCF870, and noted that the tool trails top tier impact drivers on torque, which it called fine for light to medium screwdriving.

Who it suits
- Electricians, HVAC techs and maintenance crews: the small head and 2.4 lbs weight suit overhead work and tight spaces. Pro Tool Reviews recommends the hammer drill for these trades, but advises a larger drill for regular big concrete holes or large hole saws in engineered lumber.
- Remodelers: the drill and impact driver combo gives two compact tools on one 18V platform. Check that a 2.0Ah battery lasts through your day, as the kits ship with that size.
- Homeowners and first time buyers: ToolGuyd lists kit prices starting at $139 and the kit includes a bag, though Canadian pricing is still unconfirmed.
- Anyone already on RIDGID 18V: existing batteries and chargers carry over, so a bare tool may be all you need.
- Crews that work in occupied spaces: the Stealth Force driver targets quiet work, but Pro Tool Reviews did not measure decibels, so judge noise in person.
Bottom line
The NUKE line trades some speed and torque headroom for size: Pro Tool Reviews found the larger R861152 faster in every test where both were run, yet the Nuke finished all of them. Because RIDGID Canada lists no price yet, check Home Depot Canada before planning a purchase.
