Milwaukee’s M18 30QT Rolling Fridge, model 0810-20, is a battery powered cooler that runs as a fridge or a freezer on a job site, and Power Tools Insider reports an $899 MAP for the bare tool with a 2027 release. Milwaukee’s Canadian product page still shows it as Coming Soon, with a sign-up button for notifications and no price or date.
How much does it cost in Canada?
No Canadian price has been announced. Milwaukee Tool Canada lists the fridge without a price. The only figure so far comes from Power Tools Insider, which gives $899 MAP for the bare unit, with no battery or charger, in the US. It says the fridge is expected in 2027 and will be sold exclusively at Home Depot. Canadian retail partners have not been named, so check milwaukeetool.ca for the sign-up before assuming anything.

What does it actually do?
Milwaukee says the tub holds 30 quarts and cools down to -4°F (-20°C) without ice. ToolGuyd lists the range as -4° to 43°F, so it can sit at fridge temperature or freezer temperature. Power Tools Insider adds that the aluminum lined tub fits about 48 cans or 30 water bottles and reaches its set temperature in under 20 minutes.
Power comes from three places: M18 batteries, an AC plug-in or a 12V DC vehicle adapter. Power Tools Insider says there are two M18 battery ports but only one battery is needed, and that the fridge does not charge batteries.
How long does it run on a battery?
Runtime figures come from Power Tools Insider, quoting numbers released with the new batteries:
- One XC5.0 battery: up to 9 hours in MAX mode, 10 hours in ECO mode
- Two HD12.0 batteries: up to 44 hours in MAX, 51 hours in ECO
- After the batteries die, the foam insulation can hold temperature for up to 22 more hours
Milwaukee’s own page says over 24 hours of cooling. These are the maker’s claims, and real runtime will depend on ambient heat and how often the lid opens.
How tough is it?
Milwaukee lists a 150 lb weight capacity, a 3 ft drop rating, heavy duty wheels, side handles and a latching lid. Power Tools Insider reports about 50 lbs empty and about 75 lbs loaded, plus IP54 water and dust resistance. Because it is PACKOUT compatible, it should stack with the rest of the system.
Who it suits
- Crews on remote sites: the ability to run from a battery, a truck outlet or a wall plug covers most situations, but check how many M18 batteries you can spare for a full day.
- Homeowners on a budget: at the reported $899 MAP for the bare tool, a regular cooler with ice is far cheaper, so this is a convenience purchase.
- Anyone already on M18: existing batteries work, though the longest runtimes were quoted with the new HD12.0 packs.
- Fleet buyers: wait for Canadian pricing and retail partners, since neither has been announced.
